Learn about your voice, no matter your level.
“My goal is to work in partnership with you to explore your artistry and develop your connection to your voice. Your musical and artistic goals are at the heart of our sessions, and I will give you concrete information, exercises, and support to help you create a path forward.”
My name is Emma O’Reilly. I have an MA in Music from Trinity College Dublin, a Level 4 CET and I am currently studying for an MA in Vocal Pedagogy with the VoiceStudy Centre (via the University of Wales, Trinity St. David). I have been a guest lecturer in singing for festivals like Tai-aš (Lithuania), and a tutor with Access Creative College in Norwich (specialising in Vocal Artistry), Music Generation (Ireland), Songschool (Ireland), and I mentor upcoming artist through the Unsigned programme at The Garage, Norwich. I am passionate about helping vocalists of all kinds, with a particular emphasis on those working in contemporary and popular styles.
See what Emma’s Students have to say
“I have had singing lessons with Emma for about a year now and since starting with her, I have felt how much better my singing ability has gotten. I find it so much easier to switch between head and chest voice and my confidence in my singing has really grown a lot. Emma always makes me feel comfortable and at ease, even when I make mistakes. There are so many things I am able to control better than I could even just a few months ago and I can always understand how her teachings apply to what we are doing in the sessions.”
– Lucy Di Benedetto | Private Student
“Emma has an approachable teaching style, and makes you feel at ease in discussing any struggles you may currently be facing with your voice. She explains incredibly detailed and complex information in a clear and digestible way, providing a deeper understanding of your instrument and ways to care for it whilst developing your skills. She provides excellent resources to go alongside the lessons, and is genuine and encouraging. I really enjoyed the sessions and am feeling confident that I have the tools to develop my voice effectively going forward. Thank you Emma!”
– Lucy Pearson | Songwriter, Singer, Producer and DJ, Introducing Your Voice Student, 2022
“To anyone thinking about gifting theses sessions to someone, or even to yourself!
I 100% recommend. Emma used to teach me, and you will not be disappointed. She is super down to earth, so warm and really knows what she’s talking about. She makes everything really easy to understand and delivers the results you’re looking for.
Emma, I learned sooo much from you. Your teaching went beyond music and singing for me., and I really valued every minute of your time.”

Booking your lesson
Private sessions
I am now taking bookings for 1:1 sessions in person (in Norwich) and online. Tuition costs £35 for one hour, and I like to do a free 30 minute consultation with you before you decide to book – you feeling like we’re a good fit is important.
Suspended lessons – Giving back
I believe that music education should be for everyone, but the reality is that not everyone can afford it. For this reason, I offer the option of donating a singing lesson for those who can’t afford it, and for every donation I receive, I match the donation by adding an extra session to the pot. If you’d like some help but can’t afford it, just send me an email and ask if I have any suspended lessons available. I’ll do my best to help you out.
To donate the cost of a session, please use this link and in the “What’s this for?” section, add “Suspended lesson”. Please let me know in this section if you’d like an update when the lesson has been redeemed. If you would prefer to manage your donation via bank transfer, please contact me on the email address below.
Group sessions
At the moment I’m planning a ten-week course to support anyone who would like to get a solid foundation and understanding of the technical elements of singing, but don’t necessarily want to commit to private sessions. This will be available in person and online. If you’d like to be updated when this becomes available, please email me on the address below.
