Singing lessons with Emma O'Reilly singing in the studio. Sing with me!

Emma O’Reilly is a singing teacher, performer and songwriter based in Norwich, UK.

Learn about your voice, no matter your level.

In today’s world of Tik Tok tutorials and You Tube videos, there is a TON of information online with tips and tricks for our voices, but instead of helping us to reach our goals, we just feel overwhelmed and lost, not making the progress we’re hoping for. For others, we’re just scared to get started, either online or with a teacher. And sometimes, even professionals just want a fresh approach and some guidance. If any of these sound like you, I’d be happy to help you out.

As a singing teacher, my goal is to work in partnership with you to explore your artistry and develop your connection to your voice. Your musical and artistic goals are at the heart of our sessions, and I will give you concrete information, exercises, and support to help you create a path forward.

My name is Emma O’Reilly. I have an MA in Music from Trinity College Dublin, a Level 4 CET and I am currently studying for an MA in Vocal Pedagogy with the VoiceStudy Centre (via the University of Wales, Trinity St. David).  I have been a guest lecturer in singing for festivals like Tai-aš (Lithuania),  and a tutor with Access Creative College in Norwich (specialising in Vocal Artistry), Music Generation (Ireland), and Songschool (Ireland), and I am passionate about helping singers of all kinds, with a particular emphasis on those working in contemporary and popular styles.

Booking your lesson

Private sessions

I am now taking bookings for 1:1  sessions in person (in Norwich) and online. Tuition costs £30 for one hour, and I like to do a free 30 minute consultation with you before you decide to book – you feeling like we’re a good fit is important.

Suspended lessons – Giving back

I believe that music education should be for everyone, but the reality is that not everyone can afford it. For this reason, I offer the option of donating a singing lesson for those who can’t afford it, and for every donation I receive, I match the donation by adding an extra session to the pot. If you’d like some help but can’t afford it, just send me an email and ask if I have any suspended lessons available. I’ll do my best to help you out.

To donate the cost of a session, please use this link and in the “What’s this for?” section, add “Suspended lesson”. Please let me know in this section if you’d like an update when the lesson has been redeemed. If you would prefer to manage your donation via bank transfer, please contact me on the email address below.

Group sessions

At the moment I’m planning a ten-week course to support anyone who would like to get a solid foundation and understanding of the technical elements of singing, but don’t necessarily want to commit to private sessions. This will be available in person and online. If you’d like to be updated when this becomes available, please email me on the address below.
