From Galway in the west of Ireland but now based in the UK, Emma is an independent musician, writing songs that fuse folk, classical, pop and contemporary elements.
Emma recorded her first EP in 2007 on an 8 track in her friend’s sitting room, the day before setting off on a UK tour. Her first studio EP, PURGE, followed in 2013 and FRACTURES in 2017 – the latter of which garnered rave reviews, radio airplay, and saw her tour across Ireland, Lithuania, the UK, and a number of dates in the US and Canada. She has been compared to Kate Bush, Aldous Harding, Phoebe Bridgers, and much loved Irish artists like Cathy Davey and I Have a Tribe.
Emma embraces fan interaction, and has always been very active online. Currently, Emma is streaming regularly on Twitch and sharing new material and behind the scenes footage on Patreon (exclusive to Patrons). She is currently working on a new release set to come out this year.
Outside of her own work, Emma has performed in a huge number of styles, ranging from Contemporary classical (Tonnta) to Gospel (Discovery Gospel Choir) to funk (La Gracia, Loah).

“When I started gigging, I was lucky to be surrounded by people who didn’t wait for a label, promoter, or anyone else — to make music happen. Today, I still live by the same philosophy. Let’s make music happen.”
